Which services are alternatives to Fragment?
Two local options are compared in Uzbekistan:

- Uzgets — accepts UzCard, HUMO and Click.

The table is generated from each service’s publicly listed UZS prices. Fragment is not included because it quotes in TON; the final UZS cost depends on the TON exchange rate and how you acquired it. It would therefore be inaccurate to claim that either Fragment or a local service is always cheaper without calculating at checkout.
What do the published criteria show?
Infogram evaluates services on six criteria published in advance. Fragment is excluded from the local reseller ranking: it is an official platform and does not publish comparable UZS pricing, local payment coverage, public reviews and guarantee data in the same format.

“Not published” is not a negative allegation: under the methodology rules, an unproven advantage simply receives no score. The conclusion therefore changes with the goal:

The main difference is the payment route, not the Stars. After delivery, Stars work identically inside Telegram for bots, mini apps, paid content and gifts.
When does Fragment make sense?
Fragment makes sense when:
- you already have a TON wallet;
- TON is already available in your balance;
- you understand the terms of a crypto transaction;
- you want to buy directly through an official route.
If you must first acquire TON, move it into a wallet and then pay on Fragment solely to obtain Stars, one purchase becomes several separate operations.
When is a local alternative more practical?
StarsJoy or Uzgets is more practical when:
- you have UzCard or HUMO but no international card or TON;
- you want to see the final price in UZS before paying;
- you do not want to set up a crypto wallet;
- you want to send Stars to someone else by username.
