The process of buying Telegram Stars is almost identical across local services. Below is the full sequence and what to watch for at each step.
Step 1. Open the official purchase bot
Open the service’s official bot and press /start. The bot’s username must match the one published on the service’s site — do not trust similarly named bots from search, as imitations exist.
Step 2. Select the Stars section
The menu usually offers Stars, Premium and Gifts. Choose Stars.
Step 3. Set the amount
Ready-made packages (50, 100, 500, 1000…) or a custom amount are offered. To know the price in advance, use the calculator.
Step 4. Enter the username
This is the most important step. You enter the username of the person whose balance should receive the Stars.
At this stage a trustworthy service does not ask for a password, SMS code or 2FA password. If it does, stop the purchase. More: fraud warning signs.
Check the username carefully — if it is wrong, the Stars go to someone else and are hard to recover.
Step 5. Payment — which card, which app
The card is a local UzCard or HUMO. Payment settles entirely in UZS: there is no currency conversion and no international card to open.
Click, Payme and Uzum are not separate payment systems — they are the apps a transfer is sent from. Services describe this differently: one states “via Click”, another “a transfer from any app”. The card is still UzCard or HUMO, so the app you choose does not change the price of one Star.

Keep the receipt — you will need it if anything goes wrong.
Step 6. Verify
Open Telegram settings and check the Stars balance. Delivery usually takes a few minutes.
What to do if the payment fails
Paying again is not the first step — the amount can be taken twice.
Check the card first: sufficient funds, online payments enabled, and no confirmation waiting in your banking app. In most cases the problem sits with the card settings rather than the service.
If money left the account and no Stars arrived, contact official support with the receipt and order number. The procedure is on paid but nothing arrived.
